There is no minimum or maximum number of players and girls are also allowed in the boys categories.

Squirrels/Eaglets: 2.60 m

Substitutions
For Squirrels and Eaglets, each player must play one full period. Only after all players have played may substitutions be made freely. Each player may not enter in two consecutive periods, except for physical needs or disciplinary sanctions.
For Beginners, U13 and U14, all players must be entered on the scoresheet during the first two quarters; free substitutions in the last two quarters.
For U15, U17 and U19, substitutions are free.
Duration
Eaglets: 6 periods of 6 minutes without ever stopping the clock, except for fouls, free throws, or when the referee deems it necessary.
Beginners - Under 13/14/15/17/19: 4 periods of 10 minutes without ever stopping the clock. The clock will stop only for free throws, to report a foul and at the referee’s discretion. Excessive time-wasting may be sanctioned at the discretion of the referee and table official. In the last 2 minutes of the final quarter, FIP rules apply.
Scoring
Scoring for the Youth UNDER and BEGINNERS categories will be cumulative. For SQUIRRELS and EAGLETS, scoring will be by periods, as in the current FIP regulations.

Player registration
It is permitted to field loan players from other clubs.
It is permitted to field under-age players (younger than the reference category).
Only for the U13-U14-U15-U17-U19 categories, one over-age player (older than the reference category) is allowed.
